Do great genealogy, and do good business too.
Let’s talk about sponsorships the same way I approach genealogy — with integrity, transparency, and a focus on what truly helps my audience.
If you’re a company with a product or service you’d like me to share with my readers, here’s what you need to know:
I’m very selective about what I recommend. My audience trusts me to share tools that make their genealogy better — not just easier or flashier. That means:
I only promote products or services I’ve personally used and tested.
The product must meet a real need for genealogists — something I already talk about or teach in my content.
I won’t promote something that’s freely available elsewhere unless there’s a clear, meaningful advantage for my audience.
Because my time for testing is limited, compensation for product testing is required.
Bonus points if:
You offer a discount for my subscribers.
You have an affiliate program in place.
I’m not interested in quick sales or hollow promotions — I’m interested in partnerships that make genealogy better for hobbyists who care about doing it right.

Collaboration is a bit different from sponsorship. This is about working together to create something useful, educational, or inspiring for our shared audience.
I love collaborating with other businesses or creators who serve genealogists, family historians, or related communities — especially if your work complements one of my core areas:
Research
DNA
Organization and workflow
When reaching out, please be specific about what you have in mind.
What’s the goal or deliverable? (Example: guest post swap, joint webinar, co-created digital product, etc.)
How will this collaboration benefit both of our audiences?
Approximately how many people do you reach through your business, newsletter, or platform?
I respect your time and mine — so the clearer your proposal, the faster we can decide if it’s a good fit.
For either of these options, please reach out to [email protected].
